Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NE Oregon and SE Washington
National Weather Service Pendleton OR
111 PM PDT Mon Oct 13 2025

.DISCUSSION...Breezy to windy northerly winds will continue this
afternoon through Tuesday across portions of the Columbia Plateau,
with the strongest winds along ridgetops and through gaps in the
Columbia Basin of Washington. Precipitation will taper off this
afternoon, with a slight chance (15-24%) of showers over the Blue
Mountains Tuesday. Chilly AM temperatures Tue-Thu, with warming
afternoon high temperatures through the remainder of the week. The
next chance of widespread rain is slated for late Sat into Sun.

***Winds are 20 foot 10 minute averages***
***CWR-chance of wetting rain 0.10 or greater***
***Ventilation Index is derived from the
transport wind multiplied by the mixing
height in 100`s of feet. Index categories
are a generalized indicator and users are
encourage to develop criteria that are
   suitable and representative of dispersion
conditions in their local area of interest.***
Note: Max transport winds may not occur
at the same time as max mixing height.
