.DISCUSSION...Isolated showers and thunderstorms are still
impacting areas of the Lower Columbia Basin, east slopes of the
Washington Cascades, and the Yakima/Kittitas Valleys this morning,
but should depart to our north by mid-morning. Breaking clouds
will lead to sunny skies through the remainder of the day as high
pressure moves in from the south. This will mark the beginning of
a warming and drying trend that will persist through the week.
This trend will be gradual through Wednesday, but will intensify
quickly through the remainder of the week.
