Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NE Oregon and SE Washington
National Weather Service Pendleton OR
246 PM PDT Fri Oct 4 2024

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM PDT THIS EVENING FOR
WA693, OR640 AND OR642 FOR WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY...

.DISCUSSION...A cold front is sweeping across eastern Washington
and eastern Oregon at this time, providing gusty winds and areas
of light precipitation. The fast moving front will give little
opportunity for any appreciable rainfall. Gusty winds and low RHs
were observed in south central and southeast Oregon, but the RHs
are increasing. Winds will diminish later this evening, and winds
will be relatively light this weekend. Dry and seasonably warm
conditions can be expected.
