Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NE Oregon and SE Washington
National Weather Service Pendleton OR
128 PM PDT Tue Jun 3 2025

.DISCUSSION...Dry conditions will prevail with a warming trend
that will produce temperatures 15-20 degrees above average in the
afternoons this weekend and early next week. A gradual drying at
the surface will result in RHs in the teens to low 20s this
weekend, with widespread teen RHs Sunday into next week. Winds
will mostly be light and diurnally driven, though gusts will
approach 30mph in the Kittitas valley and eastern Gorge late this
afternoon and Friday.

***Winds are 20 foot 10 minute averages***
***CWR-chance of wetting rain 0.10 or greater***
***Ventilation Index is derived from the
transport wind multiplied by the mixing
height in 100`s of feet. Index categories
are a generalized indicator and users are
encourage to develop criteria that are
   suitable and representative of dispersion
conditions in their local area of interest.***
Note: Max transport winds may not occur
at the same time as max mixing height.
