.DISCUSSION...Hot and dry conditions will prevail across the
region over the next several days as strong high pressure moves
in over the Pacific Northwest. This high pressure is expected to
break down starting Tuesday, and a pair of upper-level weather
systems moving in will lead to isolated dry thunderstorm chances
across mainly the mountains of central and eastern Oregon during
the daytime hours through the midweek. A cooler pattern is then
expected to prevail starting next weekend.
