.DISCUSSION...Elevated fire weather conditions continue with
breezy diurnal winds developing with low RHs in the mid-teens to
lower 20 percent range across the lower elevated locations through
Friday. Isolated areas may reach RFW criteria through Friday, but
not expecting any widespread formation. Saturday will see
stronger breezy to locally windy conditions develop with gusts
reaching up to 45 mph in some areas. Minimum relative humidities
recover into the 20 to 30 percent range, but stronger winds look
to offset the higher humidities. Thus, a Fire Weather Watch has
been issued for the Columbia Basin and Eastern Wallowa County for
now.
