.DISCUSSION...
Increasing heat is expected through early next week.
Extreme heat warnings are in effect for Sunday afternoon through
Tuesday evening for most lower elevation areas from central Oregon
to northeast Oregon to southeast and south-central Washington. By
midweek, a trough is expected to move through the area and cool
things down and also bring breezy to windy conditions, especially
for the Cascade gaps and Columbia Basin, and enhanced fire weather
concerns focused on later Tuesday through Wednesday at this time.
Dry weather is expected through at least Friday.
