Area Forecast Discussion
National Weather Service Pendleton OR
937 AM PST Tue Nov 4 2025

.Updated for Aviation

.AVIATION...
18Z TAFS...TAFS range from VFR to LIFR this morning, as lingering
low clouds and fog persist across the area. The expectation is for
all sites to return to VFR by afternoon, before another round of
rain moves in. With the exception of BDN and RDM, expect more MVFR
and lower conditions overnight and into Wednesday morning. However
timing and confidence in the lower conditions varies by location.

Winds will mainly be 10 kts or less, however BDN and RDM will see
some gusts 25 to 20 kts Wednesday morning.

.PREV DISCUSSION... /issued 655 AM PST Tue Nov 4 2025/

AVIATION...12Z TAFs...Many sites are experiencing MVFR conditions,
namely PDT/ALW/PSC, and will continue to do so through the night
until day time mixing will clear out VIS and allow higher cloud
decks to develop. Rain tonight will push out from over the next few
hours before rolling through all sites again by the early to late
afternoon hours Tuesday. MVFR and conditions are likely to re-develop
in YKM in the early evening tomorrow with obscure VIS and CIG
developing. All other sites will have small chances (5-15%)
throughout the period for temporary MVFR conditions to develop with
the heaviest rain bands pushing through. Winds overall will be light
at <12 knots except for BDN/RDM that will see wind gusts reach up to
15-25 knots by late Tuesday evening/early Wednesday morning.
