...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Snow with accumulations between 6 and 9 inches.

* WHERE...Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and Northwestern Preston
  County.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.
  The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and
  Friday morning commutes.

* WHAT...Snow becoming heavy late tonight and early Friday with
  accumulations between 6 and 14 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35
  mph.

* WHERE...In Pennsylvania, Higher Elevations of Fayette and Higher
  Elevations of Westmoreland Counties. In West Virginia, Eastern
  Preston, Preston, and Western Tucker Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult
  to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday
  evening and Friday morning commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates up to 1.5" per hour Friday
  morning.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Snow becoming heavy late tonight and Friday with
  accumulations between 11 and 20 inches. Winds gusting as high as
  50 mph.

* WHERE...Eastern Tucker County.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4
  mile due to falling and blowing snow. Travel could be very
  difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the
  Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes. Gusty winds could
  bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates up to 1.5" per hour Friday
  morning into the afternoon hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter
storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains,
booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help
you survive in case you become stranded.
