...ELEVATED THREAT FOR RAPID FIRE SPREAD THIS AFTERNOON...

A combination of dry and gusty conditions this afternoon will create
an elevated risk of fire spread across eastern Ohio and northern
West Virginia. Minimum relative humidity values are forecast to
range between 20%-30% with wind gusts of 30-35 mph.

Residents are urged to exercise caution if handling any potential
ignition sources such as machinery, cigarettes, or
matches/lighters. If dry grasses and tree litter are ignited, the
fire will have the potential to spread rapidly.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether
you may burn outdoors. If you do burn, use extreme caution since
fires can escalate quickly under these conditions.
