Past 24 hour precipitation...
Highly localized rainfall totals were observed in the past 24 hours
with scattered thunderstorms. Amounts ranged anywhere from a trace
to as high as 2.5 inches with the highest amounts generally in the
PA and WV ridges and a secondary maximum in southwest PA along the
WV panhandle border.

Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms along a passing cold front will
bring a basin average rainfall of 0.01 to 0.75 inches, though localized
higher amounts of up to 1 to 1.5 inches are again possible in heavier
thunderstorms.

River trends...
Main stem rivers are forecast to remain mostly steady, though
smaller creeks and streams could see brief rapid rises if heavy rainfall
falls within the basin.
