Forecast precipitation for the next 72 hours...
Basin average rainfall is forecast to range from 1.25 to 2.00 inches
in western Pennsylvania and northern West Virgnina. For eastern Ohio,
rainfall is forecast to range from 2.00 to 3.00 inches with the higher
amounts as you go west into east central Ohio through Saturday morning.

River trends...
Rounds of rain through the weekend will bring rises to area rivers
across the upper Ohio valley. At this time, Action stages are forecast
at Grays Landing and Elizabeth on the Monongahela, Wellsburg WV on the
Ohio, the Muskingum River at Coshocton, Tuscarawas River at New Philadelphia,
and Stillwater Creek at Urichsville.

Note: The current forecast crests do not account for additional precipitation
past Saturday morning. Additional rainfall after this time will lead to continued
rises. The threat of exceeding minor flood stage still exists, particularly in
eastern Ohio. Continue to monitor the river forecasts as we go into the weekend.
