.Discussion...
Lingering effects from a surface coastal low near New Jersey will
keep mostly cloudy skies, limited heating, and an occasional
sprinkle to areas east of interstate 79 while locations west will
see mostly sunny conditions above average temperature.
Dry conditions are expected overnight as high pressure builds as
temperature falls to near seasonal averages with a slightly
elevated northerly wind. Dry and mostly sunny conditions continue
through the day Tuesday with occasional northerly afternoon wind
gusts to 15 to 20 mph.
A cold frontal passage late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning
will be dry and mainly bring an uptick in area cloud cover as well
as dropping temperature back towards seasonal averages. Gusts
Wednesday afternoon could be up to 25 mph, and locally stronger in
the higher terrain, out of the northwest.
