.Discussion...
Mostly light rain to the east of Pittsburgh will largely end by
this evening as coastal low pressure pulls away. Amounts of 0.1
inch or more were largely confined to the higher elevations into
this afternoon. The rain in most cases has done little to
alleviate drought and dry fuel concerns.
A warmer and drier pattern starts Thursday and continues into the
weekend. Minimum relative humidity levels of 40 to 55 percent are
expected tomorrow, with a drop into the 30 to 45 percent range on
Friday. Wind gusts should top out in the 15 to 20 MPH range each
afternoon.
