Upper level trough movement toward New England will drive a swath
of light to moderate rain through the area, favoring along and
south of Interstate 70, this afternoon into Wednesday morning.
Weak northwest flow and surface ridging should allow for a
precipitation free day Wednesday while increased insolation lifts
temperature closer to the seasonal average. Additional shortwave
movement from the north will push a cold front through the region
Thursday and increased precipitation chances ahead of the
boundary.
