PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cheat River at Rowlesburg.

* WHEN...From early this morning to this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Flooding begins in the Rowlesburg town
  park.
  At 16.0 feet, Flooding reaches pavilions in Rowlesburg town park.
  At 18.0 feet, State route 72 is closed at the north end of
  Rowlesburg, and water surrounds houses near Rowlesburg town park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:35 AM EST Saturday the stage was 16.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 0.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 1:35 AM EST Saturday was 16.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 16.3 feet this morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage this morning to 5.5 feet
    Monday evening. It will rise to 5.8 feet early Wednesday
    afternoon. It will then fall again and remain below flood
    stage.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
