...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EDT TODAY FOR
NORTHERN BELMONT, NORTHEASTERN GUERNSEY, SOUTHERN HARRISON,
SOUTHWESTERN JEFFERSON OH AND SOUTHERN TUSCARAWAS COUNTIES...

At 950 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain continues across
the warned area, mainly in Harrison and Belmont Counties. Between 2
and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5
to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Martins Ferry, St. Clairsville, Freeport, Newcomerstown,
  Bridgeport, Antrim, Flushing, Adena, Dillonvale, Brookside, Port
  Washington, Mount Pleasant, Holloway, New Athens, Harrisville,
  Piedmont, Tippecanoe and Gilmore.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
