CRITTENDEN AND NORTHERN LIVINGSTON COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM CDT...

At 439 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 11 miles north of Golconda to near Dixon
Springs to near Vienna. Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Rosiclare, Golconda, Joy, Dixon Springs, Eddyville, Simpson, and
Carrsville.

This includes Interstate 24 in Illinois between Mile Markers 15 and
16, and between Mile Markers 18 and 22.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
