An EF-2 (125 mph) tornado began on TT
Highway near the McGee community in far
eastern Wayne County. Moving east-northeast,
the tornado did extensive tree damage as it
across P Highway northeast of McGee. After
crossing into Bollinger County, the tornado
intensified as it cross County Road 720,
where an A-frame home was severely damaged
and a church lost of much of its roof. The
tornado continued eastward, doing severe
tree damage along County Road 714. The
tornado lifted after removing the roof of
the house on County Road 618, just northeast
of the community of Arab.
