This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Very dry air and vegetation will lead to an elevated fire danger
this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A few thunderstorms are possible mainly over southeast Missouri
and west Kentucky late Wednesday night into Thursday. Heavy
downpours and lightning will be the primary concerns.

More widespread thunderstorms will bring a substantial threat of
damaging winds and possibly tornadoes late Friday afternoon
through Friday night.

Wind gusts outside of thunderstorms could gust 30-35 mph on
Friday.

Another round of thunderstorms is possible Saturday afternoon and
evening mainly over west Kentucky and southwest Indiana. Locally
heavy rainfall and lightning will be the primary concerns, but a
few severe storms cannot be ruled out.
