This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms are expected off and on through the
afternoon. A stray strong to severe storm with gusty winds can
not be completely ruled out although the risk appears low. Heavy
rain with slow moving thunderstorms may lead to brief localized
flooding issues.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Daily thunderstorm chances exist Friday through at least
Saturday. Small chances may linger through Monday as well. The
best chance for strong to severe storms appears to be on Friday,
and possibly again on Saturday with damaging winds the greatest
concern. Outside of the severe thunderstorm risk, thunderstorms
will pose risks of locally heavy rain, gusty winds, and lightning.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Formal spotter activation may be necessary Friday or Saturday.
