This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Flood Watch continues. Showers and thunderstorms with heavy
rainfall are expected to increase across the Quad State this
afternoon and persist through the night. Fresh flash flooding
will become increasing likely this afternoon and tonight. River
flooding is also expected to develop on some area rivers.

A few severe storms with damaging winds, large hail, and a few
tornadoes will be possible mainly from the Missouri Bootheel
through west Kentucky this afternoon and night.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

The Flood Watch will continue through early Sunday. Multiple
rounds of showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are
expected through Saturday night and that will lead to widespread
and potentially catastrophic flooding in some locations. The worst
flooding conditions are expected Friday night through Saturday
night.

Severe storms will be possible Friday afternoon and night. All
severe hazards will be possible, but the greatest threat will be
over western portions of southeast Missouri Friday night. A few
strong and long-track tornadoes will be possible in this area.

Additional severe storms will be focused from the Bootheel
through west Kentucky Saturday. All severe hazards will be
possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be requested for some portion of the Quad
State this afternoon and tonight, Friday afternoon and night, and
again Saturday.
