This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Hazardous weather is not anticipated.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms, mainly north of
the Tennessee and Arkansas state line Thursday night. A capping
inversion may prevent storm development, but if storms form very
large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes will be
possible.

Another risk for severe weather exists across the entire region
Friday afternoon and evening. Damaging winds, large hail and
tornadoes would be the primary concern but the same cap will remain
in place keeping a high degree of uncertainty in the forecast.

Off and on thunderstorms are forecast Sunday through Tuesday, some
severe weather risk may emerge during this period.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed.
