.DISCUSSION...

Primarily dry conditions are forecast through the weekend. Mixing
heights will be 5000 feet or higher each of the next 3 days by the
afternoon. However, light southerly transport winds will keep
dispersion poor today. Winds begin to increase on Friday across
Illinois and Missouri and then area wide on Saturday, which
allows dispersion to improve. Rain chances return to the region
next week, particularly Tuesday and Wednesday.
