.DISCUSSION...
The lowest afternoon relative humidity today will be 15-20% over
the Mark Twain, and the remainder of the area will be at 20-30%.
Southwest winds should stay 10 mph or less, but there will be
some gustiness through the afternoon. Humidity will improve some
Wednesday with the driest air, around 30%, expected over the LBL
and farther east through west Kentucky. The Mark Twain will also
drop to near 30%. Elsewhere, 35-40% is expected. South winds
Wednesday will be slightly higher than Monday with similar
gustiness. A chance of storms is forecast mainly for southeast
Missouri and west Kentucky late Wednesday night into Thursday
morning. Most places will not receive a wetting rain, but
southeast Missouri will have the best chance.
