Fire Weather Planning Forecast
National Weather Service Paducah KY
330 AM CDT Sun Aug 17 2025

.DISCUSSION...

The warmest temperatures of the season are forecast through
Tuesday. Increased humidity will push heat indices into the
triple digits, though delayed surface mixing in the afternoon will
lead to late afternoon RH drops to 35-45% over much of the Quad
State. Winds will be light through the forecast, limiting
dispersion. A slight chance of thunderstorms is forecast today,
otherwise mainly dry conditions are forecast until Wednesday when
a cold front moves through.
