.DISCUSSION...
While some increase in RH`s is expected today for southeast
Missouri, minimum values of 25-30 percent are forecast for
portions of southern IL, southwest IN, and west KY. Southwesterly
transport winds around 15 mph will lead to very good smoke
dispersion. Scattered showers and possibly an isolated storm move
in tonight through Thursday. The chance for a wetting rain is
very low, with the best chance near the Missouri and Arkansas
borders. Far greater chances for wetting rains arrive Friday
evening through Saturday along with the possibility of severe
storms. RH`s will trend upwards Thursday and Friday, largely
remaining above 40 percent. Transport winds will be lighter on
Thursday so dispersion will be poor, but then winds increase
significantly on Friday resulting in great dispersion again.
