.DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid conditions with light winds and daily chances of
thunderstorms will continue through Tuesday along and east of the
Mississippi river. Over the Mark Twain, only isolated showers and
storms are expected this afternoon and mixing heights will be
6kft or higher through Wednesday, which will allow relative
humidity to drop below 50% and possibly down to 40% each
afternoon. Unfortunately, winds will be so light that smoke
dispersion will still be fair at best. Hot conditions will
continue over the entire region through the rest of the week, with
low chances of thunderstorms returning to the forecast for
Thursday and beyond.
