.DISCUSSION...
High pressure will maintain control of the region through much of
the coming week. This will bring a much drier airmass with
afternoon RH`s falling into 30-40% range most days, with some
sites dropping below 30% on Wednesday afternoon. Healthy northerly
transport winds will be in place through Tuesday, which combined
with deep mixing will allow good smoke dispersion. Transport winds
become light on Wednesday, so despite very deep mixing above 7000
feet, dispersion will fall back to poor/fair territory. Wetting
rain chances will largely be absent this week, but some lower
chances may return to mainly southeast Missouri on Thursday.
