.DISCUSSION...
High pressure will continue to bring mainly dry and hot conditions
to the region today. RH`s will drop into the low to mid 40s this
afternoon, maybe even briefly into the upper 30s across southern
Illinois. Higher humidity levels return starting tomorrow and
continue through the week ahead along with daily chances for
showers and storms. Transport winds increase out of the south
today which combined with mixing to 6000 feet will lead to better
dispersion. Winds take on more of a westerly direction the next
two days, and mixing heights lower by Monday resulting in poor
dispersion.
