...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of western Kentucky, including the following
  counties, Caldwell, Christian, Crittenden, Hopkins, Livingston,
  Lyon, McLean, Muhlenberg, Todd, Trigg and Webster.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 527 PM CDT, Widespread flooding continues in the area from
    10 to 14 inches of rain that fell over the weekend. Numerous
    roadways are closed. The worst flooding appears to be along
    the Little River and the Tradewater River and other local
    tributaries.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Hopkinsville, Madisonville, Oak Grove, Princeton, Central
    City, Providence, Marion, Dawson Springs, Calvert City,
    Cadiz, Eddyville, Elkton, Calhoun, Cravens Bay Campground,
    Woodlands Nature Station, Energy Lake Campground, Fort
    Campbell, Land Between The Lakes Area, Demumbers Bay
    Campground and Wranglers Campground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
