...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of western Kentucky, including the following
  counties, Christian, Hopkins, Muhlenberg, Todd and Trigg.

* WHEN...Until 115 PM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1203 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
    flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
    advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Hopkinsville, Central City, Cadiz, Nortonville, Crofton,
    Powderly, Weir, Graham, Greenville, White Plains, Drakesboro,
    South Carrollton, Lafayette, Hawkins and Herndon.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
