...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM CDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of western Kentucky, including the following
  county, Todd.

* WHEN...Until 145 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1129 PM CDT, heavy rain had moved out of the area, but
    lighter showers can be expected overnight. Any flooding in
    the advisory area will gradually recede over the next couple
    of hours. Between 2.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.3 to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Elkton, Allegre and Clifty.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
