Temperatures will be about 5-10 degrees below normal with highs in the lower 80s and overnight lows in the lower to middle 60s. Sunday afternoon, a trough over the East Coast will begin to retrograde into the region, and a stray shower or thunderstorm or two is possible in the KY Pennyrile. Precipitation coverage will be greatest east of the Mississippi River where the H5 troughing aloft will be deeper. As H5 ridging increases from west to east over the region, dry conditions are forecast Thursday and Friday.
