...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN JOHNSTON...SOUTHERN
COAL...SOUTHEASTERN PONTOTOC AND WEST CENTRAL ATOKA COUNTIES...

At 756 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Clarita, or 16
miles west of Coalgate, moving southeast at 15 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Pontotoc, Clarita, Tupelo, Coalgate, Jesse, Olney, Lehigh, Phillips,
Centrahoma, Bromide, Wapanucka, Boggy Depot Park, and Stonewall.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
