...Preliminary Damage Survey Results May 18th and 19th...

National Weather Service survey crews are investigating damage
areas across western central Oklahoma today. The surveys are
ongoing and will likely take several days to finalize.

May 18th - Arnett, Oklahoma

There were at least four separate tornadoes near the city of
Arnett, with the strongest one receiving a preliminary damage
rating of EF2. Path length, width, and highest estimated winds
will be sent at a later date.

May 19th - Allen, Oklahoma
The survey crew found evidence of EF1 damage to the south and east
of Allen, Oklahoma. Additional information is needed to determine
if there multiple tornado paths, or just the one.

May 19th - near Maysville, Oklahoma
A tornado began to the east-southeast of Maysville, Oklahoma
before moving northeast into Pittsburg County. This tornado has
been confirmed, but no rating has been given yet.

More information on these tornadoes and others will be provided
as the investigations continue.
