...NWS Damage Survey for 4/19/25 Tornado Event Update #2...

.Update...Updated the tornado southwest of Courtney to EF2,
added an EF1 tornado northwest of Little City in Marshall
County, and added an estimated path for a tornado in northern
Love County.

.Overview...The National Weather Service has now confirmed nine
tornadoes that occurred on Saturday evening. Eight tornadoes have
path information listed below, although one is estimated. One
additional tornado was observed, but damage information is
unavailable at this time. Damage surveys continue and additional
details will be provided when available.

.Southwest of Courtney...

Survey Summary:
A slow-moving tornado moved northwest and then northeast. A house
suffered significant roof and exterior wall damage and a church
suffered roof damage. Trees and power lines were also damaged.

Survey Summary:
The Ada tornado began on the north side of Ada, near the
intersection of North Broadway Avenue and NW JA Richardson Loop.
Several homes suffered roof damage along Cottage street before
the tornado moved east and northeast. EF1 damage was noted at a
hotel along the Loop, where damage to roofs and awnings were
observed.  The tornado moved across the North Hills Shopping
Center, damaging several businesses before moving to the
northeast.

southwest of the community of Oakman.

Survey Summary:
Tornado began south of Spaulding, moving to the north and
northeast. EF1 damage was found in Spaulding at a manufactured
home which suffered major damage along E138 Road. Several homes
had at least minor damage, with several homes losing roofs,
windows, and walls.  The tornado lasted for 2 miles to the north
and east, before lifting northeast of town.

.West of Kingston...

Survey Summary:
A tornado moved northeast across southwestern Marshall County,
forming near the Red River and passed west of Kingston before
dissipating south of Madill. A few homes suffered roof damage
along the path, and many trees and power poles  were damaged.

Survey Summary:
This tornado moved across southeast Johnston County, developing
southeast of the Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge near the
community of Bee and moving northeast to near State Highway
48 south of Coleman.

In addition to these tornadoes, a tornado was photographed that is
believed to be south of Gene Autry in Carter County, but details are
not yet available.

EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the
following categories:

EF0.....65 to 85 mph
EF1.....86 to 110 mph
EF2.....111 to 135 mph
EF3.....136 to 165 mph
EF4.....166 to 200 mph
