.DISCUSSION...
Outflow boundary from storms south of Lawton is surging northward.
Latest tracking on radar would put it into Lawton at approximately
3:45 pm CDT. Cooler temperatures (in the upper 70s) and higher
humidity will occur for the next couple of hours behind this
boundary. In addition, this boundary will serve as a focusing
mechanism for potential storm development between 3:45 and 5:00
pm. Storms will be scattered in nature and fairly short-lived, but
will contain gusty winds up to 50 mph and dangerous cloud-to-
ground lightning. Chances for storms will continue through the
evening at roughly 30 percent between 5:00 and 9:00 pm.
