.DISCUSSION...

Gusty southeasterly winds at 25 to 35 mph have been observed near/along
the Hwy 81 corridor as this morning`s storm outflow pushed past this area.
Model guidance has handled this poorly, and there is significant uncertainty
in temperature, wind direction, and relative humidity this afternoon. Latest
forecast update shows this location along the fringe of lowest relative humidity
with afternoon RH dropping to near 25 percent.

As the boundary mixes due to daytime heating, we expect winds to return to the
south over the next 2 to 3 hours with sustained speeds up to 15 mph and gusts of
25 to 30 mph possible. RH is forecast to recover to near 60 percent by Saturday
morning.
