.DISCUSSION...
This forecast is for a location east of Burkburnett in Wichita County
with the coordinates that were given in the spot forecast request.

A cold front will be moving into the area early Thursday morning at
around the proposed ignition time. If the front has not moved through
the fireground at ignition time, the winds will likely initially be from
the west-southwest with winds shifting to northwesterly when the front
moves through. If the front has passed to the south, winds will be
northwesterly. Through the morning, winds will continue to shift
becoming northerly by late morning or early afternoon, and then
northeasterly by mid afternoon. Although the winds will shift through
this time period, the wind shift will generally be gradual. Sudden
wind shifts are not expected.

Mixing heights will initially be low preventing keeping smoke close to
the ground and ventilation rates rather low despite some winds. Mixing
heights will gradually rise through the morning allowing better smoke
dispersal and ventilation rates.
