.DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire weather conditions are expected Monday afternoon
across southwest Oklahoma and western north Texas due to record
heat, low relative humidity, and very dry fuels from the ongoing
drought. There will be a cold front (near the I-40 corridor),
where there will be a northerly wind shift and the potential for
isolated thunderstorms that would pose a threat for gusty/erratic
winds and dry lightning.
