.DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire danger is ongoing now and is expected for the rest
of the afternoon. The cold front is currently moving through
Kansas and far northwestern Oklahoma now, and will continue to
move south overnight. As the front moves south, rain chances will
begin to increase, so some relief is on the way. Until wetting
rains occur, elevated fire weather conditions will prevail. Winds
will be highly variable near any isolated thunderstorms.
