.DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire weather is expected across parts of western and
central Oklahoma and western north Texas, due primarily to RH values
dropping into the mid to upper teens. North winds will fill in
behind a cold front in northern Oklahoma; elsewhere, winds will be
southwesterly to southerly. Wind speeds will be 5 to 15 mph with
occasional gusts to 20-25 mph. ERCs remain above the 95th percentile
area-wide. A rogue shower or two will be possible this afternoon in
northern Oklahoma, but no meaningful rainfall is expected.
