...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING...
...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Oklahoma, including the following
  counties, Canadian and Oklahoma.

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
  remain closed due to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 657 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in
    the warned area due to thunderstorms has led to multiple
    roadways closed from Edmond to Yukon. Flooding is ongoing.
    Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Oklahoma City, Edmond, Yukon, Bethany, Warr Acres, The
    Village, Nichols Hills, Arcadia, Forest Park, Woodlawn Park,
    Lake Aluma, The Capitol, The Fairgrounds, Downtown Edmond and
    Wiley Post Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
