...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Hot temperatures with daytime highs in the mid 90s to low
  100s today and Thursday. This will pose a moderate to major risk
  of heat-related illness.

* WHERE...Portions of North and North Central Idaho, as well as
  portions of Central and Eastern Washington.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Limited overnight relief expected across the
  lower elevations Thursday morning with low temperatures in the mid
  60s to mid 70s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
