Forecast is based on forecast start time of 0900 PDT on August 16.
.DISCUSSION...

Discussion:
Expect a general warming and drying trend the next several days.
The threat for afternoon showers and thunderstorms will decrease
each day. Any thunderstorms that do develop this afternoon will be
capable of producing brief heavy downpours and gusty, erratic winds.
Winds will generally be light and terrain driven away from thunderstorm
outflows. Poor smoke dispersion is expected within the lower
drainages. If the fire backs down French Creek, there will be a
stronger influence of north/northeasterly winds of 6 to 10 mph each
evening.

If conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather
Service.
