Forecast is based on forecast start time of 1300 PDT on May 25.

.DISCUSSION...

A cold front will move in this evening by 1800 PDT. Showers with
a chance for thunderstorms will move in over the Aspen Fire ahead
of the front. Lightning activity will decrease between 2000 and
2200 PDT this evening. Winds will see a sharp shift from southwest
to west-northwest with frontal passage and increase with gusts
up to 30 mph. Rainfall accumulations with showers tonight will
vary with location with a 10-20 percent chance of at least a
tenth of an inch. Tuesday will be cooler and cloudy.
