.DISCUSSION...

Strong northerly winds are funneling down the Purcell trench with
gusts up 35 mph. These winds are anticipated to continue for the
next 1-2 hours before decreasing after midnight. Winds will remain
from the north through the night. RH recoveries will be fair
tonight.

Hot, dry, and unstable conditions are anticipated for Thursday.
Chances for thunderstorms increase in the afternoon after 1400
hours. Thunderstorms will be capable of producing very strong and
erratic wind gusts up to 60 mph between 1600-1900 hours.
