Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Washington and North Idaho
National Weather Service Spokane WA
613 AM PDT Tue Apr 22 2025

.DISCUSSION...

With the exception of a 10 percent chance of light rain showers
over the mountain ridges of the Idaho Panhandle and central/
northeast Washington this afternoon, the remainder of the Inland
Northwest will be dry today. The next chance for rain showers will
arrive Friday and Saturday. The forecast late in the week into the
weekend has trended drier. Light precipitation is still possible,
but chances of wetting rain have trended down as the weekend
system appears to be taking a more southern track...across Oregon
and northern California.

Forecasts for 20 foot wind speeds (valleys and ridge tops) are
10 minute averages reflecting RAWS wind.
