.DISCUSSION...


Central WA:
- Scattered wet and dry thunderstorms (50-70% chance) on Thursday
  with gusty winds, abundant lightning, and small hail.
- Gusty outflow winds 30 to 50 mph possible around thunderstorms
- First thunderstorm threat wanes by 2000 with additional showers
  and embedded weaker thunderstorms developing after midnight.

Eastern WA:
- Isolated to scattered thunderstorms after 1300 (20-40% chance)
  with gusty outflow winds, scattered lightning, and small hail.
- Scattered showers with embedded thunderstorms Thursday evening
  and night (30-50% chance)
- Wind gusts 30 to 50 mph possible around thunderstorms

North ID:
- Isolated to scattered thunderstorms (10-15% chance) Thursday
  afternoon with gusty winds and lightning increasing to 40-50% in
  the evening, especially near southern zone 101.
- Gusty outflow winds 30 to 45 mph possible around thunderstorms
- Scattered wet thunderstorms Friday


It will be an unsettled weather pattern over the next few days
with scattered wet and dry thunderstorms Thursday then scattered
wet thunderstorms Friday. Today will be the peak of the heat with
afternoon temps in the 90s to low 100s then cooling into the 80s
and 90s Friday into the weekend. Showers and storms will continue
for North Idaho and Northeastern WA on Saturday.
