Central WA:
- Little to no change in temperature or humidity levels today
compared to Friday
- Lighter, terrain driven winds this afternoon.
- Breezy northwest winds zones 705 and 706 this evening.
- Fair to poor RH recovery tonight.
Eastern WA:
- Lighter but steady south to southwest winds near 10 mph today
with afternoon gusts around 20 mph except sheltered northern
mountains.
- Little to no change in temperature or humidity levels today
compared to Friday
- Light winds with fair to poor RH recovery tonight.
North ID:
- Southwest winds 8 to 10 mph this afternoon with gusts up to 20
mph.
- Minor changes in temperatures and humidity levels from Friday
- Light winds with fair RH recovery tonight.
A steady southwest winds will persist today across the Basin
and into aligned northern valleys. Gusts near 20 mph will occur
with afternoon mixing. Winds decrease overnight except through the
Cascade Gaps where breezy conditions continue into the evening.
Warmer temperatures return through the first half of next week
with 90s to low 100s. The flow pattern mid-next week has
historically been favorable for an influx of moisture which points
to thunderstorm potential, particularly Wednesday onward.
